Youth sports are an integral part of a child’s development. We designed our recreation leagues to help participants experience the positive side of sports, but we cannot fulfill this mission without a properly prepared coach.
At Blue Valley Rec, we’ve partnered with leading experts in character development through sports to provide our coaches with ample and timely resources. Through the Royals Amateur Development System, we grant coaches access to practice plans, coaching courses, and various drills specific to baseball and softball.
At Blue Valley Rec, we take sportsmanship seriously. As parents and coaches, it’s our responsibility to model respect, self-restraint, and positive encouragement for young athletes. By setting a good example, we can strengthen the bonds between our community’s youth and foster a sense of healthy competition.
We have partnered with Proactive Coaching, Enjoy the Game, and Officially Human to ensure we provide the resources needed to display good sportsmanship.
