Fitness that Works for You!

Take care of your health by staying active at Blue Valley Rec! We offer packages for personal training in Overland Park to give you a fun, encouraging environment to get moving, no matter your age or current level of fitness. Personal Training packages are not part of your Rec Center membership and are an additional charge. You do not need a membership to purchase.

Personal Training Offerings

In addition to our fitness classes, we also offer sessions for personal training in Overland Park. These lessons, led by Blue Valley Rec personal trainers, can be individual sessions or semi-private.

Personal Training Assessment

  • Ages 16 and up (12-15 accompanied by an adult)

This initial 30-minute meeting allows us to complete paperwork and perform a movement screening on you. We’ll also do an InBody Scan and discuss your goals while we help you plan a customized workout.

Individual Session

  • Ages 16 and up (12-15 accompanied by an adult)

We offer single sessions or multiple session packages (4 sessions, 8 sessions, or 12 sessions) to fit your fitness needs.

Semi-Private Sessions

  • Ages 16 and up (12-15 accompanied by an adult)

We offer single and multiple session packages (4 sessions, 8 sessions, or 12 sessions) for two, three, or four individuals at the same time. It’s a great way to stay healthy with support of friends.

InBody Scans

  • Ages 16 and up

We also offer comprehensive body composition assessments to help you properly set and measure your fitness goals. We use the InBody (bioelectrical impedance) method for body composition testing. This method measures body mass (lean mass vs. fat mass) rather than just weight.
