In every enrichment class at Blue Valley Rec, we incorporate the 4 pillars of creativity: Wonderment, Courage, Authenticity, and Curiosity. These pillars help us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovation.
Satisfy little minds with preschool enrichment classes designed for little hands and developing minds. We focus on motor skills, learning concepts, and listening so your toddler gets the best start to learning.
Art Classes
Painting, coloring, and creating are the themes of our preschool art classes.
Lil Bit Sports Series
Introduction to various sports allows preschoolers to experience the fun of playing.

Hobbies
Hobbies are healthy. Through hobby classes at Blue Valley Rec, kids develop a sense of identity, build social skills, and learn new things. Chess, cookie decorating, horseback riding, and more give kids a fun experience.
Because you never stop learning or enjoying life, Blue Valley Rec has enrichment classes for adults, too. It’s a great break from adult life and takes you back to a time when laughter was endless and dreams were bigger than fears.

It’s never too early or too late to learn how to make life easier. Choose to attend Edward Jones Investments classes to help you navigate the financial world.
STEM activities in a fun surrounding await curious minds with an Enrichment Birthday Party. A Mad Science Party includes 1 hour in the party room for cake and presents and 30 minutes with a Mad Science instructor making fireworks, writing with lightning, and playing Who Dunnit. Our Slime Party includes 1 hour in the party room for cake and presents and 1 hour with a Challenge Island slime expert making slime.
Several of our enrichment programs are offered in conjunction with community partners. Our community partners provide the curriculum and instructor while we provide the location. Other classes are supervised by Blue Valley Rec staff. When necessary, enrichment classes are held at other locations in our area.
Being creative can be very fun, but it can sometimes be messy. Although we do our best to contain the overspills, accidents do happen. Please make sure each participant is wearing clothes that are easily washed in case something is spilled on them.
A full refund will be granted to those who cancel or withdraw from most enrichment programs 4 business days prior to the start date. You will be accessed a $10 processing fee when cancelling less than 4 business days defined as Monday-Friday. The only exception would be a pro-rated refund that may be granted (less the $10 processing fee) if no more than half of the program dates have been held. No refund will be issued when more than half of the program dates have been held or the program has ended.
Blue Valley Recreation and its partners reserve the right to use all photographs and video of participants for promotional purposes, including print, digital, advertisements, and social media promotions. This includes drone footage.
